“Pigpen has a snore. The R.A. has a lot of nerve. And Curt Garrish has a gun.”

Exploring photographic visual styles in video is an idea inspired by Chris Marker’s post-apocalyptic noir-film “La Jetee.” Here – the photographic medium depicts a sense of blunt, unyielding terror. For this Stephen King adaptation, I wanted to experiment with these concepts so that I could present a heavy short story in the most suspenseful way. The still image acts as a vessel for deliberate shot-compositions and sequences – designed to embody protagonist Curt Garrish’s monotonous plight and psychotic edge.
